- Modern Japanese Design

- Powered by Nissan’s First Generation V-6 Engine

- Evolved from Datsun’s Early Z Cars

The Model -The Nissan 300ZX, also known as the Nissan Z31, hit the automotive scene as a 1984 model and was produced through 1989.  Considered to be an evolution of the early Datsun 240Z and 280Z models the 300ZX was a popular choice amongst Japanese auto aficionados in the 80’s leading the brand to success with over 329,000 units produced.  Power was delivered in the form of Nissan’s first generation 3 Liter electronic fuel injection V-6, with the option of a Turbo increasing the standard 160hp to 200hp.  The Z design featured a low stance, aggressive body lines, color coded front and rear bumpers, covered headlights, and came loaded power windows, power locks, a modern digital dash display, and bucket seats.  Transmission options were limited to automatic or 5-speed, and all 300ZX models shared the R200 rear differential.  The Nissan 300ZX models continue to trend well in the current market, reflecting a growing appreciation for early Japanese design.

The Car -Sporting just around 46,000 miles on the odometer, and still retaining a hint of the new car smell, this Nissan is dressed to impress.  Although exempt from state mileage requirements this vehicle is believed to be a actual mileage time capsule which is easily identifiable upon inspection.  The interior power seats are adorned in leather and are in remarkable condition for a car of this era.  The power plant is the preferred Turbo optioned V-6, which presents a ample torque band and is simply a pleasure to drive. Other amenities include power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning, a T-Top roof, and rear window wiper.  This vehicle retains much originality and has been well cared for over the years, something any collector car enthusiast can appreciate.  The 300ZX’s low entry cost affords any car lover the opportunity to become a part of the classic car culture.
